I shall be having a listen to some of the stuff that Akon has recorded later. It was nice to come across this blog about him because I think that hip-hop has the potential for such a lot more. At the moment, it has got itself stuck in a bit of a rut and someone like Akon might just be the guy to make it a bit more interesting.

It also sounds good about the women in his videos being sexy rather than slutty. I get so bored with seeing hip-hop videos where women are just presented as being objects. Sometimes I feel like they should just get a round of tattoo removal so people can look past their appearance and see that university degree sitting at the back of their closet.
