In Tents Comfort.

Going to festivals is brilliant fun, but sleeping in a tiny little tent can be a bore. It’s okay for the first few times, but the novelty soon wears off. After a while you begin to feel really cramped and not being able to stand up is a pain. Getting dressed in a tent really is a work of art, and it takes a lot of practice!
But now things have changed. My boyfriend came across a site on the internet where someone had made their own tepee. They loved the festival life as well, but were fed up with struggling in a small tent. In fact, when I read through their blog it was almost like listening to myself complaining!
Tepees are a great idea because they cost next to nothing to make. If you ask the right people then you should be able to get the things you need for a very small amount of money. We used old scaffold poles for the frame which I got through a friend. Her husband works at a scaffold place and they had some old materials lying around. I ended up getting all the poles I needed for a fiver!
The best cover for a tepee is tarpaulin. It is totally waterproof and keeps out the wind. It’s also great because it blocks out the daylight really well. At a festival this is an absolute godsend! We always go to bed late; if we are not watching a band then we’re sat talking with people we’ve met.
So, if you are fed up with your tent, why not make a tepee? There are loads of websites with all the information that you’ll need.
